Prasphutan is a forthnightly wall magazine of Himalaya College of Engineering. The wall magazine is being regularly maintained and updated by the editorial board. It has made an impression of well designed, finely crafted and quality assuring magazine.
Prashphutan owns its Google Group which will be an article collecting, experience sharing and discussion center for it's enthusiasts. The articles are collected and edit from this group and from different web blogs of our college students.
The Web Issue of Prasphutan Wall Magazine has also been maintained regularly so we are able to include the pass-out batch, plush our well wishers far away from college in our readers family. The valued suggestion of web readers are also taken in account during our article publication phase.
We are publishing 8 pages of articles every 15 days in our college wall magazine which is divided for articles from following sectors:

History and Background

We were formally established in college as a Prasphutn Team
from 2062/Magh/19th Wednesday. The initial days of Wall Mag were so remarkable. We used to publish the handwritten form of the 8 pages, in a single chart-paper, quite artistic but a time consuming and required more active involvement of the Editorial Board. But afterward, the concept changed and we shifted to collecting and editing the articles with computer. Now the Web Site of Prasphutan, Its Web Issues, the blogs of our editors all are enough to show how progressive we have been.
It really is an inspiring thing that a wall magazine of a college gets feedback from its readers at U.S, Canada, Netherlands, Australia and Other foreign countries. The charm of our team has always been positive. The support from college, students and well wishers is always welcoming.
Our Objectives

1. The 'Prasphutan' will be a platform for encouraging extra curricular activities in the student mass synchronizing the study topics.
2. To encourage and provide a place for ones who love expressing own-self in written forms. Everybody has his/her own style of expressions. 'Prasphutan' will always respect everyone's perspectives.
3. As we are engineering students, the technical resources and materials will always be beneficial to our academic as well as practical education. Hence, 'Prasphutan' will provide a way to technical expression by publishing Technical Articles.
4. 'Prasphutan' will be a strong voice in support of students' rights.
5. 'Prasphutan' will be a coordinating place between the college and student. The messages, feelings of students' and college both will be our topics of publishing.
